Responsibilities:

  • Promoting AfriSam Group HR€™s image and brand
  • Planning and organising of HR events and activities in line with the division€™s annual events calendar
  • HR Executive diary management and e-mail management.
  • Coordination of the HR annual calendar
  • Managing, arranging and co-ordination of union related activities / meetings
  • Travel arrangements for HR team
  • Office management related tasks including creating filing systems, retrieval and archiving of documents
  • The provision of general administrative support to HR Executive and HR team
  • Procurement of relevant supplies including office equipment/stationary within budget provisions
  • Liaison between the department and all customers (internal and external)

Experience and Qualifications:

  • A recognized Secretarial / Office Management qualification
  • At least 5 years in a Secretarial or PA position with a minimum of 2 years reporting to a Senior Executive
  • An advanced computer literacy in MS Office
  • Proficient in the relevant SAP modules
  • Above average communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Telephone etiquette

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Above average interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to uphold high levels of integrity and confidentiality
