Shares Services Centre


  • Provides administrative, projects, events and management support to the Mining and Social Compliance office and the LED/SED/ED office
  • Responsible for a variety of administrative duties including timely preparation of reports and presentations, the payment of invoices
  • Scanning and electronic filing of documents;
  • Tracking and monitoring of the department budget;
  • Co-ordinate travel arrangements; facilitates the payment and subsistence and travel claims
  • Assist in managing and co-ordinating functions of the Legal, Governance, Risk & Compliance Department to ensure smooth operation of the office
  • Arrange travel and accommodation, as and when required
  • Co-ordinate stakeholder affairs (admin) and reports from team that includes Annual Social & Ethics reports, BEE and DMR reports and Stakeholder Engagement Report, etc.
  • Assist in the planning of the annual calendar of meetings and events, in collaboration with the Legal, Governance, Risk & Compliance Executive, with various Chairpersons to ensure adequate notice periods and planning for meetings
  • Assist with the compilation of the meeting agendas to ensure consistency of the format and ensure various requests are dealt with timeously
  • Co-ordinate, gather and prepare board and committee packs and documents to provide attendees with information to enable relevant and informed decision making
  • Review all documents received to ensure that there are no inherent errors etc.
  • Attend to logistics of meetings, printing out of agendas, minutes, venue booking, catering and travel arrangements
  • Receive and address queries from clients and, stakeholders and service providers

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 and at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in a compliance environment/Community Development field
